One of the more challenging Elden Ring boss fights is Starscourge Radahn, however due to an exploit, the insane General has mistakenly sent himself into the water.
In Elden Ring, Starscourge Radahn has quickly become a fan favorite and famed boss fight, however it's been revealed that his most powerful strike can be managed to instantly kill him. Cheating bosses isn't new to Elden Ring, as there are lots of exploitable bosses in earlier FromSoftware games, but the shortcut to defeating Radahn concludes the fight in a comically stunning way. Players will still have to finish around half of the fight properly, but when Starscourge Radahn returns to the boss arena at the start of his second phase, he can be killed.
Although renowned General Radahn is a Shardbearer who wields one of the Elden Ring's Great Runes that players must gather, he is not necessary one of the bosses required to complete the game's quest. The battle against Radahn takes place in Wailing Dunes, a massive arena that can only be reached via a mystical gateway in Redmane Castle in Caelid's southeast corner. Even using the exploit, players may still struggle with the boss fight because Radahn has a lot of devastating strikes in his early phase.
In FromSoftware games, such as Elden Ring, bosses are usually the most difficult to defeat, and the fight against Radahn can be exceptionally difficult. Starscourge Radahn has a large life bar and deals significant amounts of damage, even with the Radahn Festival active, which allows the player to summon several NPC aids. Even the arrows Radahn shoots at the start of the fight can be a one-hit kill, especially with a low-level character. It's a satisfying twist of fate that I was able to deceive him into falling into the ocean.
This exploit wouldn't have been useful for a time, because a nerf made the Radahn boss fight much easier than it was when the game originally came out. Starscourge Radahn's numbers were largely restored in a subsequent Elden Ring patch, making the cheese technique more appealing to those who were having problems beating him. Radahn's meteorite assault can be powerful and impossible to avoid, especially for those playing at a lower level, but Elden Ring has unwittingly supplied gamers with a way to use it against the General.
